Nice to know that the CDC has a sense of humor.

No weapons on the list? What's your weapon of choice? LP? Cricket bat? Pool cue? Let us know!

From

The Centers for Disease Control created "Zombie Apocalypse Preparedness 101" in an effort to get more people thinking about emergency preparedness plans. The CDC has put together a "Zombie Survival Guide," which identifies the cause of zombies and provides some tips about preparing not only for the "Zombie Apocalypse," but also for real emergencies.

I guess it's not quite as dumb as I thought.

I remember when they first posted this, everyone was jamming the site to see it...and no one could! Still super awesome :)

(by my old email notes, it was originally posted and advertised on the news May 19, 2011)

Uh oh. It's the turtle, isn't it? I keep moving the flattened shell out of the road, but it keeps reappearing right in front of my house... EEK!

Not saying. It could be the turtle. But when you think about it, you are surrounded by dead things. Insects and all kinds of other creatures. You never know what might be buzzing or lumbering about in the night, do you?

LOL! Yeah, lots of dead things hanging out. Generally they don't bother me -- except when they move:)

comic books are for kids -- graphic novels are for adults (and can be quite explicit, especially manga)
